he heartbeat of Courage has always been its music, and we are beyond thrilled to share that both the soundtrack and original score are officially live on Spotify. This film centers around music, and to see the songs and score out in the world as their own experience is a dream come true.

The Main Theme by Abraham Thomas

Leading the release is the film’s main song, created by the incredibly talented Abraham Thomas. His music set the tone for the entire project — uplifting, powerful, and rooted in rhythm and energy. It is the anthem of Courage, the melody that carries the story forward.

The Score by Geneviève Gros-Louis

Equally exciting, the full score is now available, composed by Geneviève Gros-Louis, a world-renowned violinist, film composer, and producer from the Huron-Wendat Nation.

In her own words:

“So much heart went into this music, and I couldn’t have been more honored to compose for a film that beautifully encapsulates culture, community, and tradition… weaving the essence of traditional Indigenous sounds with orchestral cinematic scoring, and just a touch of urban to tell the story of a young hoop dancer discovering his love for hoop dancing for the very first time.”

Her music elevates every moment of the film. It is rich, emotional, and layered with tradition and storytelling — a perfect reflection of what Courage stands for.

Working with Abraham Thomas and Geneviève Gros-Louis has been one of the greatest honors of this project. Their artistry brought Courage to life in ways words cannot capture. The soundtrack is more than just music — it is an extension of the story, a celebration of heritage, and an invitation to experience the film on a deeper level.
